Kia 10-Year/100,000-Mile Warranty Program 2022

Kia’s warranty program applies to Kia vehicles from the date of first service, which means the day you receive your car. The following coverage comes with all new Kia purchases:

• Powertrain warranty for 120 months or 100,000 miles
• Basic limited warranty for 60 months or 60,000 miles
• Limited anti-perforation warranty for 60 months or 60,000 miles
• Roadside assistance for 60 months or 60,000 miles

Limited Basic Warranty

Kia’s bumper-to-bumper coverage refers to the limited basic warranty, which covers most parts for defects or early failure. Damage as a result of normal wear and tear is not included. Exceptions with specific time/mile coverage include air conditioning refrigerant, audio and entertainment system, brake and clutch linings, and paint.

Limited Powertrain Warranty

Kia’s limited powertrain warranty for new owners sets new standards of coverage with 120 months or 100,000 miles from the first date of service. Service adjustments, meaning minor repairs that do not require new parts, are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles.

Limited Anti-Perforation Warranty

This warranty strictly covers the perforation of body panels from the inside out only.

Roadside Assistance Nationwide

Trusted roadside assistance providers across the nation are ready to respond to your call for help. You won’t be charged for help with issues such as a flat battery, a busted tire, or if you missed the last chance to top up the tank and you are out of gas. Trip interruption expense reimbursements and towing to the nearest authorized Kia service center are also included in the program.
