The 2020 Kia Sorrento has a little bit of everything. It features an updated, spacious interior, great safety features, and the solid warranty that we’ve come to expect from Kia.

Performance
The Kia comes with a four-cylinder engine with 185 horsepower, but if you really need to do serious work it can be upgraded to a V6 engine with a 5,000-pound towing capacity. It features 3 driving modes–normal, eco, and sport–to customize the driving experience to your needs. Available all-wheel drive will keep track of the road around you and adapt for maximum traction.
Value
The base model gets 22 miles per gallon in the city and 29 on the highway for a combined value of 25 mpg. It comes with an 18.8-gallon fuel tank capacity so you don’t have to make so many trips to the pump. JD Power gave it an award for best initial quality in its class, with the lowest rate of reported problems.
Where it really shines though, is the included warranty. The Sorrento comes with the best powertrain warranty in the industry, good for 10 years or 100,000 miles. The Limited Warranty is good for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Five years of roadside assistance is also included.
Safety
The Sorrento was a top pick in 2020 for safety by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety and comes with many great safety features. Electronic Brake-Force Distribution gives you additional stopping power, and the Hill-Start Assist Control prevents you from rolling backward on hills. The body and frame include steel reinforcements for additional rigidity.
The Sorrento also includes many great driver-assist features, such as blind-spot collision avoidance, which not only detects cars in your blind spot but can apply the brakes if you are in imminent danger. Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection does the same for cars in front of you. It also has Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance, for safety while backing up.
Technology and Connectivity
Kia has packed this car with tech features to keep you on the cutting edge. These include the ability to sync up with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. The available Harmon and Kardon sound system will give you crisp highs and booming lows.
One of the best features is the available Kia Access App, which lets you connect to your car via your smartphone. From here you can not only remotely start your car but also remotely set the temperature so you feel perfectly comfortable from the moment you step foot inside. You can also remotely lock and unlock your car, as well as find and track your car.

Warranties include 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain and 5-year/60,000-mile basic. All warranties and roadside assistance are limited. See retailer for warranty details.
