Raiti’s Rides
On his YouTube Channel, Raiti’s Rides, Joe Raiti got an early glimpse of the 2025 Kia K5 at the Chicago Auto Show. He gave a quick overview of the car’s new updates, technology, and how it feels overall. He pointed out the car’s unique body lines that create “U” shapes in the front and rear. Additionally, Raiti mentioned the refreshed tiger nose grille, the new fog lights, and the tires.
“Look at the way they did that lighting,” said Raiti. “I like how they kind of smoke the lenses a little bit, a little dark tinge.”
He then moved on to explore the inside of the vehicle, praising its design, comfort, and technology. He highlighted the addition of 12.3-inch dual screens in the K5, serving both entertainment and dashboard functions. Positioned right below the central screen, he pointed out the controls for temperature, including the dual-zone climate control, as well as the buttons for heating and cooling the seats. He also commented on the comfortable and visually appealing seats.
“New for 2025 is that neon yellow highlighter stitching,” said Raiti. “Seats- love the material. The stitching is consistent even in the center here.”
Once Raiti took the driver’s seat, he demonstrated how to adjust the seat using the K5’s power controls, highlighting that it comes with two settings to remember different seat positions.
“The seats do a great job in comfort but also in support,” said Raiti. “Even with the panoramic roof, I’m not even close to the headliner.”
Raiti is looking forward to taking the updated Kia K5 out for a test drive soon, even though he hasn’t had the chance to drive it yet.

Redline Reviews
Sofyan Bey also recently shared a first glimpse of the 2025 Kia K5 on his YouTube channel, Redline Reviews. He filmed his video during the Chicago Auto Show and highlighted the car’s engine choices, pointing out that this new model is more powerful than its 2024 predecessor. It comes with a standard 2.5-liter engine that delivers 191 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque.
“This makes it one of the quickest family sedans you can buy and really gives it an edge over the competition,” said Bey.
Bey shut the car’s hood and then discussed the updates to the vehicle’s outside look. He mentioned that the front part received a refresh with new LED lighting designs.
“Compared to the new Sonata, which also got a refresh in 2024, I personally think the K5 is the better-looking car,” said Bey.
Bey wrapped up by highlighting a few features he loves in the 2025 K5.
“It’s clear that Kia has made some pretty key upgrades here,” said Bey. “I like some of the upgrades that Kia has made to the interior, especially with the software- it finally gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.”
